Happy birthday, sunshine

It would be appropriate if I told you that I wish you the best, and I hope your future is as bright as you are. Even though I actually feel that way, I must say some other things that I wanted you to keep with you.
Hope you understand how wonderful you are. And if you don't, that's fine. I've got plenty of time to make you believe in it. Put this on your mind: you may not see it, but you're perfect. I'm not saying this because I love you, I'm saying this because even when I didn't really knew you, I saw something extremely rare, something that caught my eye and eventually my heart.
It's such a special day and I still know that you deserve always the best. Unfortunally I can't do what I really want, that is protect you and make everything be o.k. Well, I won't stop trying, that's for sure. I'm sorry things don't work exactly like we planed, but as long as I know you are here, I just don't feel afraid and somehow everything seems easier.
Sorry if I'm letting out too much information, guess it's something I can't control. Well, I do wish you all your dreams come true and the great life that you deserve, and above all things I hope you truely believe in everything I told you. Especially when I say you are perfect and I'll always be yours.
